Our Team


Damon Abnos

Founder & Principal

Damon Abnos founded Abnos Property Management in 1985. As Principal of APM, Damon has been in charge of the redevelopment, leasing, and management of commercial office and retail investments in the greater Kansas City market. He has personally built working relationships with over 1,10​0 different tenants ranging from small business owners to fortune 500 corporations. Over the past 40 years, Damon Abnos has been the driving force behind the growth of APM's portfolio to more than 150,000 square feet of commercial space.


Damon holds a B.A. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Preston Abnos

Managing Principal

Preston Abnos joined APM in 2020. He is charged with a wide variety of responsibilities including day-to-day operations, the sourcing of financing, strategy, leasing, property management, and maximizing the long-term financial performance of the company.


Prior to joining APM, Preston worked as an investment broker at Sands Investment Group, focusing on net lease retail properties across the country and successfully closing $20M+ worth of transactions.


Preston holds a B.S. from Indiana University where he double-majored in Finance and Real Estate at the Kelley School of Business.

Shirelle Anderson

Executive Assistant

Shirelle Anderson is the executive assistant responsible for tenant inquiries, marketing, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the APM office.
